Every scale in every key — the notes and degrees, the interval pattern, piano and guitar positions, and the diatonic chords and progressions each key gives you.
The major scale, then the natural minor and the two pentatonic scales. Those four cover most pop, rock, blues and folk melodies. Modes and the harmonic and melodic minor scales come next.
A mode is a scale started from a different degree of a parent scale. D Dorian uses the same seven notes as C major but centres on D, which gives it a minor colour with a bright sixth.
The notes and formula of the scale on that root, its piano and guitar positions, the chords built on each degree and common progressions in the key. If you have notes and want to know the scale, use the Scale Finder instead.
