The documented setups of 58 musicians — synths, DAWs, microphones, consoles and instruments, compiled from published interviews, trade-press gear rundowns and studio documentation. Not guessed, not stocked. Setups change over time; treat each entry as "documented at the time of the source". Search by artist, or switch to "By gear" to see who uses a given piece.

Each entry is compiled from a public source: a published interview, a gear rundown in a magazine or on a manufacturer's site, front-of-house paperwork, a studio session write-up, or an artist's own post. Where we could not document an artist's gear from such a source, they were left out rather than filled in with a guess. Rigs evolve, so read every entry as "documented as of its source" rather than a live inventory.
"By gear" view builds a reverse index — every distinct piece of equipment and the artists in the database who use it. It is the fastest way to answer questions like "who else runs an SH-101" or "which vocalists use a Neumann".

Nothing here needs buying to get started. The free browser tools — a tuner, metronome, step sequencer and ear trainer — run in the page with no sign-up, and the room treatment and mix & master guides cover the parts of a good sound that no purchase can shortcut.
