The world's most iconic techno club, operating in a former power plant in Friedrichshain. Berghain's uncompromising sound system, 24-hour parties, and famously selective door policy have made it a pilgrimage site for electronic music fans. Panorama Bar operates on the upper floor with house music.

HOW TO GET IN
Solo or pairs have the best chance. Large groups (4+) are significantly harder to get in. If you do go in a group, split up and meet inside.
All black, understated and functional is the only aesthetic. Avoid sports gear, branded streetwear or anything tourist-coded. Don't smile in the queue — keep it neutral.
Cameras are not allowed. Phone cameras get stickered at the door. Respect the rule — it exists to protect the freedom of the space and its attendees.
Sunday morning is the classic Berghain window — the queue is shorter, the crowd is serious, and the club is in deep flow. Saturday 6–9am also works well.
Even a few words of German goes a long way. It signals you're not a tourist on a bucket list mission. Know who's playing — Sven Väth vs. a resident night matters.
Do not look at your phone, take selfies or look like a tourist while waiting. Be present, relaxed, and ready to answer a basic question about who is playing if asked.
