1. What we collect
Cloud Atelier collects only what is needed to run the service. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
Account data
- Email address (for sign-in and account recovery)
- Display name (optional)
- Listening preferences and saved stations (so you can find them later)
Technical data
- Anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics 4 — only if you accept analytics cookies
- Browser type, language, screen size (for responsive design)
- IP address (for language detection and abuse prevention — not stored)
What we do not collect
- Payment card details — Cloud Atelier is currently free and takes no payments
- Social network identity (unless you choose Sign in with Google or Apple)
- Location, contacts, calendar, or microphone
2. How we use your data
We use your data only to deliver Cloud Atelier services: stream radio, save your favorites, deliver guides, send confirmation emails, prevent fraud, and improve the product based on aggregate usage.
3. Your rights (GDPR & KVKK)
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@cloudatelier.live. We respond within 30 days.
4. Cookies
We use two kinds of cookies: essential (required for the site to work) and analytics (optional, helps us improve). We set no advertising cookies. When you click an affiliate link (Amazon, Reverb via AWIN, Beatport, Skiddle), that network may set its own cookie on its own site to attribute a later purchase. You can change your preferences anytime via the cookie banner or your account settings. For detail see our Cookie Policy.
5. Third-party services
To run Cloud Atelier we rely on:
- Google Firebase — hosting, authentication, database (US/EU data centers)
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage stats (opt-in)
- Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Bandsintown — live event and concert data
- Radio Browser (api.radio-browser.info) — the community-run global station directory, queried from your browser, so your IP is visible to that service
- Wikipedia / Wikidata, MusicBrainz, setlist.fm — artist bios, venue descriptions and setlists; the first two are queried from your browser, setlist.fm through our server
- Amazon, Reverb (via AWIN), Beatport — retail links for gear and music (see the Affiliate Disclosure below)
- Skiddle — UK event listings and ticket links on the Events page (see the Affiliate Disclosure below)
Each is governed by its own privacy policy. We choose providers that meet GDPR and KVKK standards.
6. Affiliate links
Some links on Cloud Atelier are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you — this is what keeps the tools and guides free. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We also use Reverb (via the AWIN network) for used and vintage instruments and Beatport for track purchases. UK events on the Events page come from Skiddle's affiliate feed, and their ticket links are Skiddle affiliate links; every music listing in the feed is shown, none is picked for commission. Affiliate links never influence our recommendations or event listings: the picks are made first, links are added second.
7. Data retention
Account data: until you delete your account. Listening history: 12 months rolling window. Anonymous analytics: 26 months (Google Analytics default). Backups: 30 days.
8. Children
Cloud Atelier is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact privacy@cloudatelier.live and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect.
